Description:

Our new mohair sweater employs the many skills of this community which is rich with artists and craftspeople, It began with the art of Andrew Qappik, a member of the Pangnirtung Print collective who designed the flag of Nunavut featuring an Inukshuk. Qappik's softly shaded inuksuit were interpreted into richly embroidered appilque pieces by Elisapee Arnaqaq who also crochets the sweaters using soft, silky mohair. The four colours capture the many subtle tones of the Arctic land.

Guaranteed Authenticity All crafts are made by Canadian Inuit artisans. Sculptures carry the Canadian Government's official "igloo" tag.
